Excerpts:
“Fvck, what you need is someone to spank your a$$.” She squealed, her fingers flying over her keyboard. “Oh. Love that. I could work that in.” He groaned and rubbed his c0ck. Damn fool woman putting ideas in his tortured mind.
“Have you ever been spanked? You can’t exactly write about it if you’ve never experienced it.”
“Good point. Damn, I’m back to square one.” She tapped something hard. “Have you spanked someone?”
He slumped. Why did he do this to himself?
Because he damned well loved her.
“Yes.” He squeezed his eyes shut and let his fantasies run wild. “What do you want to know?”
“Do you think you’re too big?” She studied the double bed then him, running her gaze over his legs. He grinned. “Women haven’t complained before.”
“Sweetheart, what’s wrong?” His sleep-drenched voice, hoarse, so epically masculine, pierced her with longing. He pinched her chin between forefinger and thumb and urged her to meet his hooded gaze. She tried to fight him, but he held firm. At a soft grunt, he brushed his mouth across hers.
She kicked him on the shin, firing bolts of agony along her toes through her boot. With a yelp, he thrust her away but caught her wrist, spinning her into his arms. The second he slashed his mouth across hers, she stilled, her breath freezing in her lungs.
Her words lodged in her throat at the man sliding out of his crashed SUV. He was gorgeous, all broad shoulders, massive hands, and legs that went on for days. His jeans molded to his sculpted thighs and a$$. And when he settled his hazel gaze on her, the fury in them flushed her face to the tips of her ears.
He released her to slide his hand up her nightshirt. She shivered at the brush of his fingers. He cupped her s3x but did nothing else. His warm hand added to the throb building inside her.
“You’re the best. Kisses.” And she hung up, leaving him rock hard and unfulfilled. Kisses, svcks, hugs, and fvcks, that’s what he wanted from her. But it had to come with her heart. Tossing his phone aside, he rolled out of bed for a cold shower.

In my personal opinion, the humor and romance are more prominent in this book compared to the other books in the Plump Playwright series. I must say, the book did have quite an unusual start, ended up giving me whiplash. This book helped me destress through my exams, and now yet again it is helping me through the hard times of being a COVID victim. Compared to the other books (Especially Keeping Tessa), the angst was on the light side. Without a doubt, it was quite an enjoyable read, with a cup of tea and heavy rains to go along with it. It is a book to relax with amidst your busy days of work, school, or literally anything else.
